Clean and Modern Butterfly

A new take on butterflies- clean, graphic, modern- no frills or fluff on this card!

I was inspired by a very similar card I saw on a blog and would love to give credit...but I can't find it again...  One thing I do remember in the original was their use of the burtterfly punch- it was black cardstock, and it was striking!  This card is a bit softer, with the image from Papillon Potpourri.


In all honesty, this was not the card I had planned to post today.  The card I planned used patterned paper from the retiring list...and that item is all gone!  Don't miss out- items are seriously selling out like mad.  To see the retired list, click here... because when it is gone, it is gone for good...

Everyday Enchantment day 3

This week is dedicated to the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.  I have fallen in love with the way this paper seems to suit any occasion and any colors.

Here is a scrapbook page of my kids playing with their friends on a slip and slide.

 

You can see how the papers are so adaptable, and lend themselves to backgrounds, layers and embellishments... and you can see why it is enchanting :)
