Project Life- School Pictures

 

I am loving the little cards in the Project Life package!

 

In fact, I am loving layering the little cards over the big cards!

 

 

 The colors for patterned paper, cardstock photo mats and small embellishments are straight from the cards.  The colors make coordinating a snap- here the Project Life is paired with the quatrefancy designer series paper. 

Those little chevrons and the "yay" come from the circle card thinlet die.

Project Life- Flower Girls

 

Stampin' Up! is pairing with Becky Higgins to bring you Project Life! If you are not yet familiar with Project Life, the idea is that you can get your scrapbooking done very quickly, without a lot of fuss, by simply slipping your photos and the Project Life cards into pockets in your divided page protector.  You can learn more about this by clicking here. 

 

I prefer to have the freedom to design my page without the divided page protectors, so that I can use any size or layout configuration that I might want.  BUT, here is the thing- the products are made by Stampin' Up!, so they coordinate with all of our other products!  The colors are the same as our inks, cardstock, designer series paper, embellishments.....

 

 

This page pulls out the crushed curry color with the Eastern Elegance designer series paper as the base of the page and a background for the title card. 

The ink for the label shape from Everything Eleanor also is crushed curry, as is the center of the flower colored with the blender pen. The flowers and bird are from this set as well.

The color on the flowers coordinates with the color on the cards.

Everyday Enchantment day 5

Today is the last of my posts celebrating the wonderful paper pack Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.

This is a picture I found from when my husband was young.  It shows him with his mom and three older sisters.  Again, scrap what you love, when it moves you to scrap it.  Don't worry if you are going out of order, it doesn't matter.

From what I can tell, you could pretty much fill a page with this paper, throw a photo on and call it done!  A little inking around the edges helps give your papers some definition.  I hope the posts from this week have inspired you to find a way to use this paper.

This is a page we made at one of my scrapbook page classes.  Look how beautifully the papers work together, adding color and texture to the scrapbook page.  With only a few embellishments, courtesy of the Big Shot, the page is done!

 

...and that is me with my family, standing on the exact spot where my husband and I got married 10 years before :)

This week is dedicated to the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.  I have fallen in love with the way this paper seems to suit any occasion and any colors.

You can see how the papers are so adaptable, and lend themselves to backgrounds, layers and embellishments... and you can see why it is enchanting :)
