Afternoon Picnic pocket card

I like a card to be interesting and interactive.  This pocket card fits the bill!  We made this in my card making class last week.

The Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper gives this card and additional bit of elegance with its combination of modern and vintage style.

Guess what- the paper is on sale through today in the Weekly Deals.  It is also on the retiring list, and will be available only while supplies last.  To see the retiring list, click here.

If you would like to make a pocket card like this, here is a quick instruction.  I suggest making two at once to be able to use all of your pieces without any leftovers.  Use the standard card base, which is 4.25 x 5.5 inches, or one half piece of cardstock.  Score at 4.25 inches.  Cut the card base as shown, from the score line to the corner.

Swap the cut out pieces to the other color.  Decorate with Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper.

The Apothecary Art stamp set goes nicely with this paper, as an embellishment stamped with black StazOn ink and colored with blender pens.  The layer bihing the stamped image is punched with the Blossom punch.
